Price??

So that would be my questions. I would bet this unit is going to be up around 60k. If that's the case for what you get... I am way happy with my loaded Performance Pack 5.0 GT at 45,585! I will have about 8k in upgrades with a Whipple, headers and exhaust and be pushing 700 plus HP. Great animation looking car! I think we know with Fords past special editions, it will have some attractive parts with an even higher price tag. Thoughts?

I'm shocked that Ford is actually building a production FPC car.... Ok it was fun playing along I'm really not. So who still thinks this isn't going to be M4/Z28 money?
Z28 money is too pricey for me however... Wonder how much of this trickles into the 2016 GT?

I'm surprised they didn't mention a specific feature coming out of EESE R&A in that press release. Perhaps they're waiting to make another splash?

Looks like my lips are still held shut :p

Hope not.. be nice to see it at 52-55k
With some of the features offered here, I can't see this car being any cheaper than the recently departed GT500. FPC engine, carbon composite bits, Magneride, special interior, etc.

I would think 55K minimum.

WoW, very impressed. Alias, I'll never have the money for one. Will be fun to see them roaming the streets :)

Yeah the price is a big question, but hey there is still a 5.0. But if I imagine how much money it will cost to (aside FPC) to install the nice features and to bring a 5.0 near to the performance of a stock 360 it could be equal or more maybe.

Am I the only one that cringed at the "more than 500 hp" comment. I remember hearing more than previous 5.0 and that only netted 15 hp.

Honestly, this actually seals the deal for me to go ahead and buy a 2013-14 GT500. I'm not a road course guy and go to a drag strip maybe 2 times a year. Other than that I want a fun street car with gobs of power.
