Announcement:

Too many threads are being posted in the wrong section, sometimes on purpose in an attempt to gain maximum exposure. The moderators have been moving them when they see them and leaving a permanent redirect to the section where it was moved, but the redirects are cluttering up certain sections and creating a lot of extra work for the moderators.

Therefore we are implementing a new policy.

Any thread that is blatantly posted in the wrong section will be moved without any notice or redirect. The user will be left to locate the thread in the proper section and if it becomes a habit, the user will be warned before other action is taken on the account. All other improperly posted threads of a less-than-obvious nature will be moved with an expiring redirect of a few hours.

I understand there are threads posted in the General section because they do not fall into any of the subforums. This new rule is meant for the most obvious ones. Threads specifically about exhausts, wheels, nav/audio, sales, etc. -- it should be obvious where these belong.

Posting in the proper section keeps the board easier to read, reduces redundancy and clutter and makes it easier to search for topics that have already been discussed.

Please help the community (and the moderators) to keep the forum as user friendly as possible.

Thank you.
