We have big news today: the xMOD system for 18-20 GT's is now available!!
We are VERY excited to release this system and have spent countless hours in R&D to ensure it's the best product that we could possibly make! The xMOD system is one of the only truly modular exhausts on the market that enables you to customize the sound to your personal liking. We include 2 midpipe options to choose from (resonated & unresonated) as well as providing the optional bypass valves that can be opened or closed for the desired volume. Valve options are supplied for both active and non-active exhaust vehicles.
Dyno tests have shown an average increase of 16-18 hp and 15-16 lb-ft of torque after installing the exhaust. These power gains can be had with ANY combination of the modular components.
Another brand-new feature the xMod brings to the table is our No Drone Technology. By incorporating quarter-wave resonators (sometimes referred to as Hemholtz resonators) in the rear muffler design, we can essentially cancel out unwanted frequencies and resonance at any RPM or throttle condition.
Instead of band clamps or 2/3-bolt flanges, we opted to use higher-end V-band clamps throughout the exhaust so the modular components can be changed out in a matter of minutes. No need to remove extra parts or pry on the exhaust to get it free. The new heavy-duty mounting brackets help to stabilize the exhaust while changing components and provide extra bracing.
Other benefits of the xMod exhaust include:
-Dual wall carbon fiber tips
-Retains factory active exhaust functionality
-3" header connection pipes included for better compatibility with aftermarket headers.
Like all MagnaFlow exhaust systems, it is made right here in southern California out of stainless steel and comes with our lifetime warranty against any defects.
