aFe is thrilled to be expanding our product line up of our twisted steel headers to the 2015 Ford Mustang GT. The 5.0L Coyote engine got several improvements for 2015, including a new intake manifold design, a new camshaft system, and new exhaust manifolds. Our engineers took a close look into the exhaust manifolds, and saw there was further room for improvement. We felt this vehicle could use more power towards mid to higher range RPM’s, especially when we took our in-house mustang to Laguna Seca to test some of our suspension components we will soon be releasing.

Quick Key Points:

• 1-7/8’s 16-gauge 304 Stainless Steel mandrel bent tubing.
• 4-1 formed collectors decrease turbulence and increase velocity speed for increased power.
• Port matched OE gaskets and head flanges prevent any potential restriction from these two areas.
• 3/8” thick laser cut head flanges assure a leak free seal.
• Includes 48 state legal catalytic converters.
• Outlets bolt-on to the factory exhaust.
• We include 3 inch adapters that bolt-on to our aFe Cat-back exhaust for the best power and sound.
• An improvement of +13 HP and +19 lbs. x ft. of TQ confirmed by our in house Dyno Jet.
• Straight bolt-on design with no modifications or changes required to install.

We designed our headers around 1-7/8” 16 gauge size diameter tube lengths, constructed out of 304 stainless steel for maximum durability. A 4 to 1 collector is used to reduce the amount of turbulence inside the header, which then amplifies speed in the exhaust gases for increased power, torque and throttle response. After testing we found the factory OE exhaust manifolds to be restrictive towards higher RPM’s. Our long tube headers would provide you, with the extra power needed to overtake someone at the track or on the highway.

We laser cut our flanges to precisely 3/8” thick with provided gaskets that are matched to fit perfectly. Giving you an ultimate leak free seal, so you never have to worry about repeating the job again all due to a poorly designed head flange. Our gaskets and flanges are port matched to prevent leakage due to different size diameters and tolerances, along with providing a free flowing path for exhaust gases.

Our high flow connection pipes, include 48 state legal catalytic converters. We use 400 cell count cats for enhanced power, along with reducing the odor of RAW fuel associated with cat-less systems. To finish off the headers you need a great sounding exhaust, but we thought about those who wanted to keep their stock exhaust for a more practical daily driver. The twisted steel headers have the option of running the stock exhaust, or our aFe performance exhaust for great sound and further enhanced power.

Our in house Dyno Jet confirmed an increase of +13HP and +19lbs. x ft. of torque on the factory OE tuning. Our headers require no modification to install.

Any sound clips of the system? I would like to hear what your idle tone sounds like and static revs both in the 3500 rpm peak range and to redline.

You sure that's with a factory tune? Looks as though the car is really leaned out on the "header only" run.

What's going on with that pic up top? The one where the exhaust is crossing over the tranny.

It's not a Mustang in the picture. Maybe a 2wd F150; hard to tell for sure as it has aluminum control arms, and knuckles. The last 2015 one I saw had stamped steel control arms...

Yes sir, that is on a factory tune. Anytime you add headers, you normally want to tune the vehicle to get the best power possible out of your headers. But in this case, it is all on the OEM tune.

I apologize that is the wrong picture
