I have limited experience with the nitto 555rg2, but the 500 or so miles I've put I like how they look and how they hook. My setup is 19x10 p6gr front on mps4s 275 40 19 and 19x 11.5 rear with 555rg2 345 30 19 only issue was very slight rubbing on the inside rears with the shock mount, an aftermarket one would fix that I just removed the tires and then ground them down a little. If I buy adjustable camber arms that would also allow more clearance cause I would go for near zero camber

Curious why you went with 30 on the rear?

They don't offer a 345 555r2 with a 35. Because it's so wide the 30 profile is perfect. If it were a 35 it would look funny because it wouldn't match the front aspect ratio. 30% of a 345 looks similar to 35% of a 305

Jmtoast the 555RII’s don’t come in 285/35/20 they are 285/30/20. I considered running those on the Roush wheels, but was concerned with the 30 profile so I went with 275/35/20.

Yeah that’s pushing it on a 9.5 inch rim Bruce. Unfortunately we can only run up to a 285 on our Roush wheels

Yeah, I see a 10 inch is the minimum recommendation for 295s.

Hmmm....on Discount Tire's website, they list 9.5 as the minimum rim width for 295s.

The extra width is nice but I’m looking forward to getting the 275/35/20’s on here shortly and see how well they do. Worse case scenario if they don’t work to my liking I have a nice set of staggered wheels from my 17 that I could run a 305/35/20.

Your right Bruce it does say that on DTD site and contradicts what Nitto has on their site saying 10 inch as the minimum. I’m leaning towards Nitto being more accurate but can’t say for certain. Very interesting though!

I decided to reach out to discounttiredirect.com and they verified that the 295/35/20 will work on 9.5 inch rims. I told them to check the Nitto site which they did and saw it shows 10 inch rim minimum, but they put me on hold for a few minutes and verified that it is safe to mount on 9.5 inch rim.

I thought about returning my 275/35/20’s for them but I chickened out. If I hadn’t already received my tires I probably would’ve tried out the 295/35/20.

I will tell you that discount tire had trouble mounting my 285’s. Couldn’t get them to seal on the roush’s

Well then I’m glad I stuck with my 275’s and should have no problem mounting them. Thanks for the info.

I am sure the 275s will be fine. Seems odd that a wider tire would be more difficult to seal. I would think that trying to put a skinny tire on a wide wheel would be much more difficult.
