2017 FORD MUSTANG 5.0
Hello Ford Members,

New member and owner of a 2017 Ford Mustang 5.0.

Just got this baby about 5 days ago, and everytime i google about
parts for this Mustang i end up here.

So decided to join the forum LOL.

Well long story short, i am 47 year old Veteran and i had a Camaro SS and totaled it after a truck ran the red light. Lucky enough i walked out the car and nothing happened to me.

Well decided to try out a Mustang and see what the big talk about.

Going to try and figure out the forum and links and questions.
I apologize ahead of time of it’s in the wrong section.

Thank you

Thank you guys, at the moment, i will enjoy as is for a couple months.

But my plans after the insurance settlement is complete is to go whippel SC, some
Internals prep before.

Some light wight wheels is a plus for sure, thinking of some coil overs to be order in the next week or so.

But what you guys recommend ?

Thank you

Sounds awesome :headbang:

There's lots of paths to go and recommendations to give, but overall for the internals prep I would do OPG/CG and maybe the balancer unless you are going full-out built engine. Suspension wise look at some of BMR's parts to go along with your coilovers. CB005 and some differential bushings greatly help with traction, which you will need once you supercharge. Get some wide sticky tires of course too.

Will you be doing the work yourself or bringing it somewhere?

I drove from the California/Oregon border to Hatch for the chili festival to have a green chile cheeseburger and all they had was cotton candy etc. what a disappointment ! ( I did have a great meal at one of the restaurants in town though)

That blows :tsk:

Best time to visit in my experience is during the Balloon Festival in early October. A little crowded for a city like ABQ but every little mom and pop stand comes out so you have a plethora of things to try.

If anything just order a sack of Green and make your own

Welcome to the club!

IMHO, your first mod should always be what tires to get. Take your 60 month pro rated warranty from the Oem tires, and put on some Michelin super sports. The a/s 3+ I’m partial to for an all year tire. Awesome in the rain and quiet too,
