The V6 will be standard with the A10 if you go Auto so I imagine the LT1 will as well.

Sounds like what Ford did in like 94 and 95. GT drivetrain and brakes in what was basically a base V6 Mustang. Made for a VERY light GT but no one really bought it. Think they called it the GTS.

“Redesigned” is being generous. They changed one part of the bumper from black to body colored. Still has the same weird grin, squinty headlamps and fivehead sized black grille.

I welcome the Camaro and wish for it's success. Competition makes all cars better. And while the looks of the Camaro dissuaded me from buying one, the 1LE is a more track capable car than my PP2.

I actually like the look of the Camaro RS. It’s like a modern interpretation of the 3rd gen. I would consider it with a V8.

GM is offering the LT1 trim that is lower than the SS but will still offer a V8, and it undercuts the base Mustang GT by about $1500.

Wonder how this will effect handling, braking, 0-60 and 1/4 mile?

Pretty darn strange considering the Camaro has been super successful! Hopefully it doesn’t impact the Camaro’s ATP too much.
