Why are Cup 2's or Nittos your only options? There's plenty of other good options out there.
not so many in 305/35/19 specifically.

@speedknot , I saw some people doing 285/35/19 MP4S in the front and 305/35/19 MPSS in the back. given that these tires are similar enough, it might actually work fine for street driving. Alternatively, you might consider either 295/35/19 or 315/30/19, both would give you more tire options. or even stretch to 325/30/19 :)

Ah, understood.

But limiting yourself to two tires is ridiculous. Run two different tires front/rear if you have to. It'll be fine. Hell, I have 3 Bridgestones and 1 Yokohama on my street set after getting a sidewall nail.....perfectly fine, no issues.
Or go to 305/30/19 in the rear; that's a pretty standard size with many options available.

Totally agreed, 305/35/19 is the worst size because of very limited options. Though, I also see how 305/30/19 might be too low for somebody's taste on daily commute car because of comfort and looks. But, there is plenty of choices in 295/35/19 size and I highly doubt anyone would notice any difference with 305 on the street. Cup 2's are really not a good option for daily commuter, unless one has tons of money to burn.

Thanks for your suggestions. My main goal is to keep the stock sidewall height AND overall tire height and just go wider. I'm not lowering this, so going any thinner on the sidewall height is out of the question. I'm in NY and the roads suck here. I daily drive this in the summer. My 2014 is lowered and has 275/30-19's on it and every bump feels like the apocalypse. Had I done this project last year, I could have gotten everything I needed.

your car, your choice of course. but just to put it out there - the difference in sidewall between 305/35/19 and 295/35/19 is 1% or 0.1 inch. I don't think you could tell any difference in a blind test. the width is just 3% different, so in reality the tire compound plays much bigger role in traction, than going 3% wider. you wouldn't comp
