Hey Bro!

I'm scratching my head with a problem very similar to yours where my car is behaving exactly like you described here.

My car doesnt turn on the indicators when the engine is running, and If the engine is off, The indicators work. Can you tell me exactly which resistors and in which combination did you use ?

Any help and your time is much appreciated !!
Hi, I don't remember quit well the resistor, but they sell them as well at CJ Pony, https://www.cjponyparts.com/led-turn-signal-resistor-kit/p/RESISTKIT/
the rest of it, I have drawn in the picture above.

Bonne chance!
Thank you @OKP
In your picture I don't understand where you plug + of DRL, sorry I'm not very good in electricity 😁[/QUOTE]

The + of the drl needs to be connected to the original plus of the drl unit of the car. I have cut the original plug for this and connected the cables together. I also put the small socket of the parking Light in the place where the original bulb of the drl of the car is placed. Otherwise if you change the unit ,you will have no parking Light. I removed the complete bumper for this to work easy on the cables. If you are not familiar with car elektriciteit, be carefull not to create any short cuts and get some help from some one Who can. Maybe a member of the french mustang club? Modding is nice , but you neede to know how. I ll try-out to draw a beter picture tomorrow.

Hello @OKP ,
I try today to connect them.
I connect the DRL cable to fuse box to have them always lighting after contact.
I plug the turn signal on OEM connector, I tried with and without resistor, it's the same results
Without engine run, all is ok
With engine run, only turn signal failed.
Could you please help me and send me the new draw?
Thank you very much 😉

Hi DevStang, can't you figure out the connection that i made? Have a close look. I have aput a resistor like the one in the picture between the ground cable and the cable that goes to the relay.

I have soldered it between those 2 cables. You must protect it afterwards carefully against rain and water with silicone or good tape. The just follow the picture that I made.

The resistor comes bewteen the black ground cable and the yellow I think of the turnsignal. Connect to the relay as described. Turnsignal cable from lamp connects to 87 on relay. 86 goed to ground. 30 goes directly to battery. 85 you connect to the cable from the car that is the turn signal. (I have cut this cable so I could connect it directly) Hope this is more clear to you. As stated, I did this more then 3 years ago, but this is how I remembered it. Good luck!

Not sure what year yours is but I had exactly the same problem after I installed drls with switchback indicators on my 2017 RHD Mustang. It only affected the rhs. Anyway I ended up taking it to a lighting specialist and we discovered one of the drivers was faulty. I had to order a replacement and once fitted I haven't had the problem anymore. Not sure if this is your issue or it will help but I thought I'd share.

Hello @snake bite,

Hi mate, not the LEDs they weren't faulty, it was the lightning driver, part of the external wiring which has the resister and capacitors etc. Unfortunately I can't upload a picture because I'm having problems uploading pictures.

Oh and I forgot to mention the lighting guy said the issue with mine wasn't the resister. He said the issue was the fact that it was drawing too much current and that was why it was not working.

Hello @OKP ,

I think I understand why it doesn't work for me.
Your picture shows a capacitor, not a resistance.
I have ordered capacitor and will test soon 😉
