While our current Oil Separators are very popular and work very well, we felt it was time to see what could be done to make them even better.

We have been hard at work for over a year coming up with a new design that works great and holds more without being too big while still having a competitive cost.

Our number one priority was testing! Real world testing on cars, multiple cars and for various miles. We feel this method VS. just talk is a necessity.

Any company can say what an Oil Separator should collect, but not many companies show you.

New JLT Oil Separator 3.0
  • Our new design is the 3.0 because it holds 3 oz. of fluid where our original holds a little over 1 oz.
  • Solid and thick billet construction
  • Has a multi-stage filter system designed to collect the finest of vapors and drop them into the easily removable bottom while allowing clean air to pass through to the intake.
  • Still available in our easy on, easy off designs using factory hoses or in a complete kit with all needed brackets, hoses and hardware for the specific vehicle.
  • Easy install with full directions and videos.

Kits available now:

2011-2017 Mustang GT; 2012-2013 Boss 302; 2011-2014 F-150 5.0L; 2015-2017 GT350 Passenger Side - part numbers: 3011P-B, 3011P-C

2015+ Mustang with a Roush/VMP supercharger will be available very soon. Direct fit, no cutting or modification needed.

Retail on all of these kits will be $139 with free shipping to the continental USA, available in black or clear anodized at no additional cost. These can be purchased directly through us or through any of our authorized dealers, many of them vendors here on this forum!

How about some videos?

A closer look for install on the GT.

Do you have to pop this on and off just to empty it? I can see how this would be awkward leaving it on?

You can do it either way, in the video I was removing them because we were swapping them out.

However it's very easy to just unscrew the bottom with the can still installed.

Come by our setup Friday or Saturday, we'll have something rolling for the show!

It still just hangs on the tubes. Please provide a mount for it.
Can weighs 7oz, the tubes are more than sufficient to withstand it for years to come.

If you do prefer to remount mount the setups we offer the kits as a universal that can accept a bracket and be plumbed how you would like.

So what? I've had my JLT 1.0 on the car for 8,000+ miles and it is perfectly fine. I don't think a mount is necessary. If anything, it would probably make the product more expensive.

The contents of the catch can should be changed regularly, so the can isn't weighed down (if that was your concern regarding the mount).

The can is larger in width and length vs the old. Now just a simple swap of a top.

Shoot me a PM and we'll see what we can do for you on a new setup if you wish to change over.

We've seen about 25% more collection over the old style. Every can we tested from varying brands has left the outlet side wet to some varying degree.

We believe 20-30inches of vacuum is a lot to overcome, only way I see to completely eliminate that is to run breathers. However, then you lose your vacuum draw on the crankcase(worth some HP) and deal with the smell..pick your poison.
