Honestly I think the top push pin is no big deal given the fact that the lower portion is pretty stiff and relatively heavy and fastens solidly with three bolts. In person it looks pretty amazing. I gave my car a nice lathery bath today and I couldn't stop looking at it. The photos here are after three weeks of crap weather. I had breakfast with some car buddies and one said he didn't think the front end could look any more aggressive until he saw these..

These look good on a non R splitter.
On a R splitter I don’t care for them.

Looking at those pics, I may need to pull the trigger now.

I'll wait until someone uses these above 160 mph. It's ok to add reinforce but with one attachment I'm not convinced. Load is back and rotational down and back. Bad juju.

Is the pushpin going into a thru hole with rear access? Could that be replaced with a bolt/nut?

I'll try to let you guys know. I pulled the trigger in the zero hour of the President day special they had. So I should receive mines in a few days.

I think you'd probably have to remove the headlight to gain rear access. The pushpin is pretty beefy. Bigger than anything I could find at the parts store. Once it's in it ain't goin' nowhere.

While on the ZL1 Addons page I noticed their wickerbill. Looks interesting.

On the GT500 the Ford chief engineer calls them wickers.

did anyone measure or is it posted anywhere how much lower these sit below the factory spoilers? What if one has lower profile tires 305(315)30/19s for example and a lowered spring kit from Ford Performance or other company? Do we need to worry about wicker/wing rubbing ground due to self inflicted mod addiction? Looks like it’s about 1/4 inch thick when bolted on, and some extra space between the spoiler which probably is another 1/8-1/4 inch. Would hate to bolt this on knowing that with a lowered car and low profile 30 series tires, just asking to be scraped off at the next curb entrance or a driveway. Just my .02 cents. Thanks

The thickness, additional length and width of the winglets will effect approach angles.

That’s what I thought. Already using varied approach angles with the 30 series tires, and I have not even installed my FP lowering springs yet

My car is stock ride height and tires. The original bolts that I removed were pretty much shaved smooth from the inevitable occasional scraping. The new bolts are hex head and slightly thicker that the original allen head rounded bolts. I would say they will scrape for sure if lowered.
