That would be more like what you see on a C6 Z06, those are designed to move the air out and around the notoriously turbulent wheel houses and don't contain the outer element that's perpendicular to the airflow.

These are primarily designed to trap and slow down air movement to give it more time and area to impart it's downward force against the splitter. These actually have a very large drag penalty in comparison to a standard canard and why you only are seeing these on cars with excessively high hp like the new ZR1 and the GT500 with over 700hp each to overcome that drag.
Ah so they're not bezeled then essentially like a canard is...that's interesting. So the these are making the splitter even more effective rather than them being a direct device of downforce/aero profiling.

I agree that dive plane may not be the best description, but I wouldn't write them off as ineffective yet. The video shows a clear angulation, and the end fencing or winglets are known to help increase the effectiveness of splitters and wings, hence why we see them on the ends of airplane wings and the sides of car wings/spoilers. The air on the edges tends to want to spill off the sides rather than being directed up and over the foil, so the winglets prevent the air from spilling off the sides and keeps it focused in the intended direction.
Who said end-fences weren't effective?

End-fences are not winglets. They serve slightly different purposes.

I have a '15GT with a replica GT350 front end. I just ordered a pair of these. Once they arrive and I install them I'll give you guys a review. Here's a before pic:

I started the order process. $11 for taxes is one thing, but $20 for shipping is bullshit.

I’m still on the fence with these.
I had a FP350S splitter I just sold and now kinda wish I kept it.
Not sure how I feel about these.

That would look better if they were molded into the splitter rather than a 3rd piece that sits below the fangs and the splitter

I’d still like to see these paired with a standard GT350 splitter instead of an R splitter. The GT500 has a splitter that closer resembles the standard GT350 piece so in my opinion these pieces may flow a little better with it. If I didn’t just install an R splitter I would definitely grab a set of these and give them a shot.

Very true, I just think the 350 front end doesn’t flow as well for these add ons as these do on the 500
The 350R splitter is much bigger than the GT500 splitter, I wonder if the base GT350 splitter would look better with them?

This is on a non R.
I personally think they look better on a non R. They resemble the 500 more when used on a non R.

I think they look pretty good in the pics Dominator posted of the grey car.
