I can't believe I'm posting this now, I can't believe I bought one today, a lot happening. Bought a 2016 1992 miles GT350 today sort of on a "Hey I'm going to see if they'll work down the price" and ended up at $44k OTD. Has the tech package, not sure if I'm worried about not having the track pack or not, seemed like the sentiment was if you're a heavy track guy you will, if you're not (I'm not...yet) not a big deal.

I lurk here a TON and really appreciate the community, knowledge and enthusiasm. I have to ask a selfish question, what should I be thinking of getting/doing first? I'm bummed I don't have the owners kit that comes with it new and it didn't have the car cover with it, again bummer. Appreciate any tips or tricks you guys have. I will say that I know to keep an eye on the oil levels and to check it warm at EVERY fill-up. Car had a clean history and no issues reported through DME.

Alas: pics of the beauty next to my Orangey that was retired today :( I also was able to do a very very quick review for my buddies online, thought I'd share as well.

congrats, nice upgrade. the car doesnt have too many miles on it (almost 2k mi), but you might want to do an oil change, just to have a clean start. also grab a passenger side oil catch can. some guys do paint correction, protection film, ceramic coating etc, but that's of course up to you. otherwise, not a whole lot to do, just smash that gas pedal (in mexico, of course).

enjoy!

Congrats on your purchase. I would also suggest a passenger side catch can if not already there. Take your pick with the one you want. They pretty much all perform the same. From there on, rocker blockers, air filter, etc etc etc. Good luck !

Congrats!
Besides a passenger side oil separator and PPF (optional), get the Steeda clutch spring or go springless, and transform the feel of the clutch pedal.
Stock spring = sux

To be honest, i’m more of a canyon carver than a track guy. I don’t plan to track this car.I know this means i’m not really using the car for it’s intended purpose, and i’m Ok with that.

Best of luck to you.

Congrats!
- Steeda clutch spring
- Change all fluids and oil filter if service records don't indicate they have been in the past year
- UPR passenger side catch can (it's a clean install)
- spare tire kit if you are daily driving
- As soon as you start the car use Sport mode but change dampers to normal if the pavement sucks.

I have a 2016 Tech and the coolers are a somewhat easy upgrade if you start tracking it with the trans cooler being a MUST. The diff cooler isn't necessary if you change diff fluids every 2-4 track days. Have over 25 track days on mine and she has been great!

Congrats for both of you! I know how it must feel coming from an Ecoboost.... I rented it a few times and I was completely disappointed.

Thanks to all and @Digitalwiz awesome, love that color!

I have some more questions, but a couple responses before we takeoff (in a plane). They did the oil change for me before I took the car, it was a mopar dealer and they used AMSoil per my request, so I should be good to go there.

Is there an acceptable range on the oil pressure I should watch or am I just being overly paranoid? annnd here comes takeoff.
