Thanks all for the insight. I don’t have an issue paying a dealer to do the work If that’s what was supposed to happen. Some communications from my dealer before hand would have been useful.
As much as I’d like to take a crack at the install myself, without a lift I suspect it would be a miserable experience and the car means too much to me to muck it up.
I got lucky and have an appoint for this Friday to get it installed. Crazy times in the car industry, I called two other dealers and their earliest service appointment was mid-July.
