I have used 5 sets of front pads on my rotors in 7200 miles, mostly tracking and they still have tons of thickness just starting to crack. I think it’s funny they say your rotors are worn out. If you do take them off, ill pay shipping + $100 for you to send them to me (seriously).

For what it’s worth, I’ve had Powerstop rotors and pads on my F150 for the last couple of years...haven’t had an issue yet. Whether stop and go city driving or pulling a trailer, not one issue.

Thanks for the input guys. I actually have 35k miles as I daily drive the car, no track time. So, I'm not at all upset with the life of the parts, I just want to avoid overpaying. I'm going to pick it up today and drop it off at a friends shop tomorrow morning. Any recommendations on vendors with good prices for oem parts would be appreciated.
I have 30K miles on my 2016 daily driver and checked the brakes 2 weeks ago. My front rotors have 1.5mm of stock to hit minimum thickness and the pads are about 1/2 worn (checked against a set of new OEM) and that includes track time. I really believe that you have a lot of miles left in your current setup. I would be interested in hearing the results of your checkup from an independent mechanic.

If I went to a Dealership and they told me $3000 for pad and rotors, I WOULD SAY YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND I DON'T WANT TO BUY THE DEALERSHIP just want pads and rotors. I'm betting you do not pads and rotors unless you ride the drake pedal or tow a 30' RV every day.
Never never take your car to a dealership for custom pay items, find a good aftermarket shop,

The price is around $1500 for parts only and that is online price. Dealer will mark up the price and add labor it is a normal price you pay at the dealer. They are in buissness to make money. Simple facts.

At 35k it's very unlikely you rear rotors.

I'd be very surprised if you need rotors.

Brakes are a good job to do yourself on any car. Shops want too much money and it's not a difficult job. Usually the first time it's a bit of a pain, but from then on it will go easily and quickly.

it is simple for someone that has done it on the shelby. But the rear on this car is little tricky to get the parking cable off and putting it back in.

Someone should make a Youtube video on how to change brakes (pads and rotors) for these cars. I have changed pads and rotors on my last couple vehicles and there were step by step Youtube guides out there that really made it easy.

The rear is super annoying especially the first time.

I changed all four corners to Z26 Extreme Powerstops about 4-5 months ago. I used a YT video by AutoFanatic. It was very helpful. Never going back to stock Brembo pads simply because I have little to zero dust issues. I'll sell them if anybody wants them. 4k on them with just local driving.

Hold on a second, where is 1600 coming from ? Disks are under 350, Powerstop ceramic pads are 46... so front can be done for under 500 shipped. Most likely rear also.
It's a Ford darn it, not a Ferrari :)
