I am going to try mine with the intake off when it is cooler out. When I tried it it was 95 degrees and DA was 2500ish.
test yet?

I did try it when the DA was abound 100 and it didn't make much difference. I pulled the intake off and it seemed to leave a bit harder but didn't help the time at all and it ran about .5 MPH higher. It does help but not sure it enough to matter.

You can gain a lb of boost by losing that intake and using a turbo screen!

I’m late to the boost party, but I’m very excited to have just ordered the Beefcake Special Paxton Stage 2 3.6/BV57 BOV for my 15 PP GT. Hopefully I can get it installed before heading to Hot Rod week in York, Pa on June 1st and 2nd. Thanks again for everything Terry. Now I need to find someone who wants to buy a slightly used GT350 intake manifold

Tim Rodeheaver at Rodeheavers Hot Rod Shop. He’s done a lot of work for me and he’s very highly regarded in the Pittsburgh area. I can’t wait!

I had a change of plans build wise. Now that im going F/I, I want to try this out for a bit and get used to it. Also I’m trying to not go overboard yet, this is my DD and I don’t want to push it too far. I figure if I sell the intake I can put the money towards getting upgraded half shafts or a clutch. Unfortunately the intake is at the speed shop so I can’t take pictures of it, but I’ll be asking $725 if you know anyone that’s interested

Bumping a killer kit, since I’ve had several PMs asking about info on my Paxton. Also been very pleased with Terry’s customer service, would definitely recommend him for any power adder purchase.

Zero issues since day one, no belt noises, no running issues, just smiles per gallon!

(Filter is a Spectre, costs a 1/3 cost of the K&N and the quality is very good. Cheap enough to replace every few months rather than mess about with cleaning it)
