I like it! It would be great if it’s a little taller too... so the whipple can fit without messing with the mounts.

How much does the stock hood weigh? I assume it needs pins?

The stock hood is around 30 lbs, hood pins are recommended

I may be wrong, but wont that be a mess if you get caught in the rain? Looks like it will soak your air filter.

I haven’t picked up my car yet, but the vent appears to be behind the air filter

Maybe it's the angle, but looks directly above to me.

HB: I like it. What did you somehow come up w/method of lower attachment of airbox to keep those screwheads off hood underside?

So far, I haven't had any rubbing on the hood. It sits low enough that I haven't had a problem. I do have hoot latches now, tho. They do restrict vertical movement.

Ok, thanks. Heck, my oem airbox seal has rubbed spots of my red hood! See if I can tweak adj. on box. Continue to like your innovation and that awesome build!

I’m not a fan of the vents on the sides. Functionally, its probably great but it looks like a cheap aftermarket civic or lancer hood vent.

Ya'll need to keep in mind this hood is built for motorsport, not street use. Function over form!
