Answer me this. If they can afford it, and not worry about it losing value, then why do they fret so much about putting miles on them?
Could it possibly be because it's what they want to do and it makes them happy?
Not everyone thinks or behaves the same way you do.

That is the thing, everyone has opinions and none of them are wrong.
But why does mine get under your skin so much?

You can backtest just about any car against S&P 500 market returns.

You always lose a ton of money, even if your 69 superbird sells for 1/4 mill 50 years later

No, and I'm fully expect base gt500s to be selling for 65k this time next year.
Send me a link if you see a low mileage 20+ base for 65k. I’ll buy another GT500.

No need to link, just do a basic cars.com search for 2020 GT500s late october/early November 2023 ;)

MEH, The sad part is the number of people that are fine with the dealership upcharge.
At what point does Ford say, why are we letting the dealers make that type profit on a unit. we should be the ones and jack the msrp 20k on these, 15k on mach1/darkhorse and 10k on gt's. As it is clear many are more than ok with paying it.
That is all you are telling Ford. up the msrp as we will pay it.
Either there needs to be a agreement stopping them from selling above MSRP or Ford just needs to have supply meet demand. Even if Ford jacked up the prices on their end dealerships will also jack up the prices for us.

The problem is 100% production numbers. If Ford literally made a car for every single person who wanted one there no more markups.

I hope that’s not the case, most 2020 are listed for around 90k, mine being one of them. Not really in the market to sell but if the price is right I would.

Maybe the moderators can close this down since it’s turned into another useless ADM thread.
No kidding, there’s always that one person who feels like everyone just has to hear what they think about a subject and will beat that dead horse into dust….talk about “going full retard”.

Money talks, had a 08 Porsche GT2, my ultimate dream car, thought I would never sell, 4 yrs later got an offer I could not refuse. For a true sports car lover there is always something else to buy.
