For whatever reason more times than not its someone with a Gt coming in to this part of the forum and stating uneducated opinions about msrp’s, pricing,
What? Wait a minute..... everyone knows the GT500 is nothing more than a GT with a blower on it. As a matter of fact most savvy GT owners know that they can get more horsepower than the 500 and not have to pay the ADM.

Being that the 500 is the same car as all the rest of 'em, maybe the mods ought to desegregate this forum into one section so that we can all discuss these matters together and sing a little kumbaya.

A shout out to my fellow ecoboost, GT, and Mach 1 brethren who continually come over here and keep us 500 guys guys straight. Thanks!

2 GT500 CFTP are for sale in Alberta. One (150 miles north of me) is MSRP + $25K and the other, almost next door, is MSRP +$0K. Check out www.autotrader.ca for all the prices in the great white north.

I'm loving the spec on it. Reminders me of the GT500 KRs they did in 07-09

Kind of a cool color combo. So roughly ~$127K OTD with TTL fees.

This might sound crazy to some but with how the car market is now, seems like an appropriate “deal”. I feel fortunate that I got such screaming deals on both my Mustang and F-150.

Let the hate commence lol.

I just checked and all of them are for more then what I paid for my base (2020) and most are bases that are more than I paid for my 2022 CFTP.

Can't imagine anyone paying that kind of ADM at this point in the game. The hype is over, new model hype has already started.

Kind of hard to get excited about anything in '23 and the '24....the cringe meter stands firm in the negative category. Dealers can squeeze the crap out of anybody looking for a '22 off the showroom floor and will continue to do so until a legitimate Predator replacement enters the arena.

I’m not a huge fan of the new look, to Camaro like. But a 7.3l Gt500 that’s another story

If it was 1971, Ford would have considered the 7.3L engine. And then cancelled it by 1972.

I don't see Ford increasing displacement. Forced induction is always a possibility but cubic inches will continue to wane until extinction.

Possible, also could get one last hurrah before total electrification. I’m keeping my hopes up, Stangmode is a loose cannon, he could be right.

A 7.3l track pack would be a monster.

Nah. In addition, the 7.3 uses an iron block. Beefy but heavy. Ford has no plans, as far as I know, to develop an aluminum block casting for use in a relatively low volume Mustang.

Don't get me wrong - I'd love to see Ford go full caveman and throw caution to the regulatory wind. With a limited budget due to the internal combustion/electrification split, that ship sailed before it was even a hint of a consideration.
