New 2021 GT500 Orders

Heard 2021 GT500 Chassis #27 was delivered to a Kentucky Dealership yesterday. Obviously, no Penske painted stripe.

Just curious, has any recently ordered or received a CFHP car? I haven’t heard much chatter about this option. I would like to see one.

My car is lightly optioned. Tech Pack, CF Interior. I agree with you. Haven’t heard that anyone has spec’d a CFHP.

Finally got my allocation from my dealer. Order placed and submitted to Ford today. GT500 in performance blue with white painted OTT stripes and CFTP as well as technology package. Basically, the full boat. Ended up paying $10k ADM.

Yesterday my dealer called to tell me there was a GT500 unloaded at the dealership - but it was not mine... and he was sad since i placed my order like 3 hours after the order banks opened back in Jan...

So today I got the VIN from for the orange one - and looked up it's history...
This is HI-larious... given my VIN is also about 400+ LOWER than the car delivered...

Just sharing for everyone else who is currently or will be going crazy with their order tracking... you are not alone... it defies logic...

Yours could very well be built already. Just look at the other: Built on the 8th and magically arrives on the 8th. Obviously it was built before that. Your car may have had a broken part in its assigned pile too. I can attest, thats what happened with mine
Edit to add: Your 13th estimated delivery seems to jive with the others delivery timeline. In production on the 1st. 7 days later arrived. Yours follows that pattern too. Hang in there bro

I just read a news article from today that states Ford will be doing a temporary shutdown at the Flat Rock plant due to the semiconductor shortage.

I spoke with Ford Performance today. My completed car is sitting on a trailer at the plant, waiting to be shipped. If I’m waiting for more cars to roll off the line and head east, I guess I could be waiting. I’m really happy the car is complete but hate the idea that it may be sitting there waiting for more completed cars to fill out the trailer’s capacity.

Make sure the dealer changes the Order Type to Retail and the Priority to 10.

Just picked her up this afternoon. Got her all washed up and will commence waxing tomorrow. I love the sound of this thing and the Recaro seats are SO comfortable. Have all of 15 miles on her.
