Just came across this on CarGurus...what do you guys think? Ad says that it's brand new, so I'm guessing it's just a left over that never sold. The $10,000 discount off of MSRP sure is nice. I'm worried that the black interior on a vert is gonna get hot here in FL, but it has every other option that I'd want.

Any reason to pass on a 2015 (besides waiting for the 2018 lol)? Any probs with the first MY or major improvements in 2016 or 2017?

Id say they can come off of that more than that. Its almost 3 model years old, they've already written it off of their floor plan, it has the less desirable Sync 2 system and when you drive it off the lot your going to be ~$12k upside down. (15 GT Premium Vert's can be had for under $30k used. Honestly I'd pass unless they sell it to you for around $32-33k. I'm sure you could find a 16 with a similar discount if you search further out.

Low ball them. Offer $30,000 Nothing to lose..

As far as Sync 2 or Sync 3 goes, I have sync 2 in my 2013 F150 and sync 3 in my Mustang and in all honesty, I find each system fine. Lots are complaining about sync2 (MFT), but mine works great. I also Like being able to change the wallpaper and I find it more visually pleasing with MFT having the 4 quadrant screen, but that's just me.:)

Good luck, whatever you decide. OW GT vert is a sweet ride...

Yeah, still seems priced high for a 2015.

Low ball the heck out of them and see if they'll take it. What do you have to lose? You might be surprised.

I know new is desirable to some, but good used deals can be found that are much better. The warranty follows the car, so a low mileage loaded s550 'vert that's below trade-in value would be ideal. They're out there, if you're willing to travel. I got my fully loaded triple yellow '15 premium 'vert last December for almost $10k under retail. It was from a BMW dealer in a cold climate who got it from an auction at the end of the summer and couldn't move it. They were losing interest money every month on it and they had had it so long that they had to take full title in that state. It only had 9k miles and there was nothing wrong with it other than a couple of minor rock chips low in the front and it only had one key fob. I walked out the door for $27,275 and my bank said it was worth $36,680. It even still smelled new under the hood. It had a clean CarFax, but those can be wrong. I had my Ford dealer check it out when I got it home and they said there was nothing wrong with it and that it had never been in an accident. They couldn't believe what I paid. It needed the oil changed and tires balanced which my Ford dealer did. I touched up the rock chips myself and then polished it. Looks much better than most '15's I see around town as daily drivers. I got the car that I would have ordered that year, if I had bought it new, for over $20k under sticker. I just had to wait for the right deal to come along. I've bought a new Mustang and a new F150 in recent years, but I got much better deals on two other used low mileage Mustangs that were still under warranty. A car purchase always feels better when you drive off the lot with some equity in it. I don't think I'll ever buy new again. Good luck with your purchase whichever way you decide to go...

That's true about the used vs new...Now...When I bought mine last year, the used 2015s were only about 2k cheaper than new 2016s!
