The car was consistent 12.2-12.3 today. I would like to break 12.0 in daily driver trim. I’m sure I could get another 10th or so as is, but not consistently run 11.8-11.9. I am thinking of going with the Ford performance power pack for my tune, but I am not sure if it’s enough power. I do have some e85 around, but I want to stay with 93. I would appreciate feedback from some 10R80 power pack owners on what kind of improvements in 1/4 mile they saw.

If you have E in your area, how about a flex fuel tune? You'll make a little more on E-85 when wanted but can easily go back to 93 for the daily commute.
And if you really just don't want to touch the stuff at all, I think some weight reduction combined with the power pack 2 would get you below 12. Look in the What Things Weigh thread. I've been stacking up a parts list that should drop my curb weight almost 150lbs without a lot of coin. However, I am considering things like rear seat delete and Steeda bumper braces which you may not want to dive in for on a daily. Up to you though.

E85 is the cheapest easiest way to reach your goal. Drag radials will also put you over the hump. Maybe a nice set of nitto 555s to keep it daily driver friendly.

116 mph is enough power to run 11's. You just need to be able to put it down a lil better. What tires do you have currently??

Hey! this is the track I got to, also go to MCR! My suggestions is get a flex tune and fill up on e85 before the track or get some drag radials for the rear. Last year, my best time in my 2015 on a nitto g2 junk street tire was 12.5 with just an e85 tune and catback exhaust. Shooting for mid 11's this year

You don't need more power, you need more traction. You have the power for high 11s and with traction it will be consistent.

A nice set of drag radials will get you there.

The FP tune is nice and smooth, especially for street driving...but it won't get you that much power to really put you solidly into the 11s. You either get an aftermarket tune (which comes with warranty issues) or you do tires which can be easily swapped on or off.

Agreed. He needs that 60ft to be down a little more.

also if you get a tune request the stock shift points,my car made peak power at 7100 rpm,my tuner set it up for 7800 and it slowed the car up.I had a revision to stock shift points.Yes the car was dynoed.

On a 2018 manifold? I thought those made peak power around 7500 or so

I agree with prior comments about having a DR on the back. My first trip to the track was a warm night, straight off the highway trip with car still hot (no time for cool down), car ran 12.2 @ 118. DA was 1500, IAT at time of run was 140+. Only got the one run in that night on MPS4S tires. 60' was 2.0.

Next trip out, cooler weather (DA 223), full weight, and DRs on back, car ran 11.55 @ 121.5 with a 1.84 60'.

What DA did you run the 12.2 in?
Was the car cooled off before your run?

I had my best traction on the MPS4S with air pressure in back around 26-27 psi.

If you want to improve your drag ET’s, traction first, then add power......

Put a 17” DR out back at 16psi, heat them up for 4-5 seconds, foot brake the launch, and collect your 11.55-11.75 time slip.
