Good stuff guys. Maybe I could gain some knowledge here. I am trying to figure out if my pp1 19"wheels will clear gt350 brakes. I would assume I will need a spacer in the rear but I was thinking my fronts would clear as I have the big brakes already. Since the wheels are the same diameter as the gt350 with a different width and offset,, I was hoping I could make this work. Any thoughts? Apologies for the high jack but desperate times, desperate measures Lol.

You shouldn't have to use any spacers or anything to clear the rear GT350 calipers because they don't look any bigger than the stock 16 base model GT like I have! My second set of wheels "SVE R350" that I still have are replica's of the original GT350R's are 19X10's and I run 285/35/19's squared setup and even in the front it clears my 4 piston calipers with no issues! I've attached a pic for reference...

My rears are 19 x 9.5 with 52.5 mm offset and 186 mm backspacing. I thought I read somewhere that because the embrace setup is different, that everything moved out about 1/4 " each side which I thought would require a spacer on the rear to increase the positive offset?

Holy crap, I didn't realize your offset was +52.5 as my R350 wheels are 19X10 ET35 all around! Hit up "Wireeater" on this thread and he's good at this offset stuff, I'm not :-0

P.S. Don't feel bad for jumping into this thread and you're not hijacking anything! We're all here to get help and I'm pretty sure anyone who knows will give you some good advice!

Yep, that's the dilemma. The GT 350 rear is 11" wide. I am changing knuckles, e- brake setup, calipers, rotors, etc. Not a cheap upgrade and while I am going to upgrade the wheels, I want to use mine until I need tires again so I don't take two big hits and have my car on stands while I try to get something to fit. Thanks for trying to help, much appreciated.

OK I got some good news as the same wheels I have which I didn't get in 11 inch are 19X11 ET50 so you should be good because yours are 19X10 ET52.5! I didn't get them because I wanted to run a squared setup with the 19X10's so you're only 2.5mm off from the SVE R350 11 inch wheels and those wheels don't sit flush. I had to use a 1/4 "6mm" wheel spacer to make them sit flush in the rear so you are good!

And the gt350 brake setup is about 1/4" wider each side than a gt because of the e- brake setup being inside the rotor the gt has an integrated e- brake using the rear calipers

If the offsets are the same as the SVE's

Goddamn, hit up Wireeater! He knows this stuff and hope he's got an answer for you!
Yes I was thinking that too because if your offsets are the same as the rear SVE's it should be fine, you're only 2.5mm off from their specs right, the width of the wheel shouldn't matter in this case!

I agree with that logic, and I should be able to just use a spacer to make up the difference if that is true. I guess at that point, my concern would be backspacing. Wouldn't want them to poke.

with 'piddly' 9.5 you're not going to poke at all. The only reason you'd need a spacer is if the brake assembly protrudes and hits the spokes because the spokes aren't dished enough. If you read thru the 'aggressive fitment' thread you would know that many people use 15-25mm spacers on the 9.5 rear wheels to push them out to flush or beyond.

I rather doubt the 19x9 front is going to clear the front GT350 brake setup from a purely inner diameter (barrel) perspective. Not all 19's clear so be mindful when buying your 'ideal' set of wheels in the near future. Do a quick mock-up to confirm before you go down this very expensive brake rabbit hole.

Yep, I have the pp brembos on the front and I don't think that the 350 brembos are much bigger. But you are right, I need to find out.

PP1 rotor is 380mm, GT350 is 394mm diameter. That doesn't account for caliper placement and any protrusions. You want at least 5mm clearance between caliper and barrel is eject small foreign debris.
