After 5 months my Mustang finally came in today. I got it home and, like everyone else, played with all of the settings. I went to set the color of my instrument panel and it informed me I cannot do this in the daylight. OK, so I pulled the car into my garage, shut the doors and turned off all lights so that it was pitch black in there, and tried it again. Same message.
How does it know that it is still daylight outside of the garage? Does it use its own clock and compares it to Greenwich Mean Time and the United States Naval Observatory and an atomic clock somewhere? Or am I just doing something wrong?
