PM me if you want a price on one.
Thank you. I’m going to stop by the dealership just to see. In all likelihood you will be getting a message from me.Brennan sells it for $6.82, although I don't know if they'll sell 1 pc retail direct.
If they won't, PM me.
First, who lost the part? You or the delaership? If it was the dealership, make them replace it. If it was missing, Ford owes you this part. If you lost it, then I'd cough up the $73 and move on.Ford Performance just replied via email.
Dealer part number is KR3Z-6762-A.
$73. No thanks.

Out of stock until March.Brennan sells it for $6.82, although I don't know if they'll sell 1 pc retail direct.

I'll see if I can find it at another MFG.Out of stock until March.
It is lost and Ford nor the dealership has a dog in the fight.First, who lost the part? You or the delaership? If it was the dealership, make them replace it. If it was missing, Ford owes you this part. If you lost it, then I'd cough up the $73 and move on.
Second, if you go with some part that is not the 100% exact replacement as spec'd by Ford, and you run into an issue that they can point to saying your incorrect part replacement had something to do with the failure, you run the risk of a warranty denial. That notion is remote, especially with just a catch can, but i wouldn't F with it for a part that is $73.
If the part was missing and you didn't loose it, make ford send you a new one.
Thanks. I found one.I'll see if I can find it at another MFG.
Yes they do. You were not provided what you paid for. The dealership is on the hook for the missing part if it was supposed to be provided with the car. They should be getting you the new part. If the part is not available, they should buy you a new kit.It is lost and Ford nor the dealership has a dog in the fight.
I will be a little more clear. The part was in my possession, now it is not. The how is another long story.Yes they do. You were not provided what you paid for. Edited to add: This situation would be like the car was delivered to you with something missing that was supposed to be included (which it was). If the dealership doesn't want to get you the part, or a whole new catch can kit, then I would be on the phone with Ford customer relations to get them to lean on the dealership.
I would not install an aftermarket fitting because your dealership is lazy. They are responsible to deliver the complete kit that came with the car.
