National back order on GT350 oil filters?

At my local dealer for a oil change and just was told that Ford is back ordered on our oil filters. Nationally. So much for a pre-hibernation oil change.

humm. I just had mine done last week. They had filters.

They're scarce, yes. Not gonna downplay it. However, they're out there. They pop back up on RockAuto from time to time (sign up for alerts on the part). Last one I needed (couple months ago), LMR had plenty. Shoulda bought two but I only change about once a year anyways, so no huge deal.

Plus Amsoil has a filter for our car I'd run in a hot second and never lose a wink of sleep over. But you know how that debate goes....

(point being, you can get a quality filter)

One of our members (the chairman) uses a K&N oil filter. He regularly tracks his car at COTA with no issue.

If its just a hibernation oil change, you do have options.
