I have recently added a Ngauge with a Lund tune over here in the UK. WHen looking at the gauges I was checking what the Ngauge called INTAKE air temp and it was registering say 10 degrees c however the gauge in the car was saying INLET AIR TEMP of 20 degrees c the N gauge was always about 10 degrees below the dash reading. Are these measurements of INTAKE and INLET the same thing, if so why would a ngauge plugged in and reading the vehicle data showing such a variation? It seems accurate with other readings. MY reason for checking is I fitted a PMAS CAI which seems less well insulated from engine temperature....apart from looking pug ugly ! Does anyone else notice a variance in the two?
THanks for any thoughts in advance?
