Day 1

So day one after getting back the car from OPG install I basically took everything out of the engine bay and organized the install pieces by stage. Throughout the week I assembled the pieces and parts of the PC kit while I did not have my car. That way the install of the kit would go faster. Basically gapped the plugs, assembled the BOV, pipes, vacuum block etc…

I also installed the new plugs. The back passenger plug is a bit of a bitch... Why is everything on the passenger side a pita!!

Day two (partial)

I decided to work in the car then under the hood. Today I installed the JMS P&P Bap as well as the Lund Boost+ box. Both were fairly easy to put in place. I will not finalize the mounting point of the Boost+ install until I run the vacuum line. All other wiring is done. I ran the plug behind the silver dash trim on the passage side to the nGauge to keep things like they were.

The BAP was cake other than finding a solid ground at first; I really didn’t want to drill. Instead I used my Dremel, and exposed the metal under the seatbelt bolt. Then using a larger eyelet, I used that bolt for the ground. I like were the BAP is mounted personally. I then set up my settings on the BAP and saved it. I attached a pic of my settings.

Day two continued...

Ended up finishing the grill delete and decided to swap injectors too.

Injectors were cake. Note you do not reuse the injector hold down clips. Swap each injector one at a time and a small DSG of fresh oil on the O ring like the instructions said. All of 20 minutes to do!

Your car is looking great Kris. I really like the wheels especially with the black car. Looking forward to seeing the rest of your mods.

Day 3

Here is how she looks going into day 3.... Here is the plan:

Already drained the radiator this morning and cracked the hub pulley loose. NOTE***if you have access to air you will love it! The pulley bolt isn't hard to break loose but keeping the motor from spinning is another issue. I used a screw driver to stop it from spinning... I found out I have to move my front sway bar outa the way which is going to be a PITA!!!! Those F'ing 18mm bolts are awkwardly placed and have the evil ford blue lock tight, mother $%&$@#!!!!

After the pulley I will finish up the smooth idler and thermostat. Then on to the PC, IC and all the other goodies. In between there I need to run a vacuum line for my boost gauge. Plan is to finish install today and get my first batch of logs to Lund.

I also have the NT555R's being delivered today...that may be a tomorrow thing prior to going to the dyno.....But if I don't finish the install today no dyno tomorrow :(

Lastly my mom is coming to visit and my wife decided to get new guestroom furniture so I have to find time to put all that together cause I am too cheap to let others do it SMH....

Day 3 mid-day update...

Little mid day update...

Got the crank pulley mounted, was a bit of a pain to keep the motor from spinning but a bit of garage mechanic ingenuity solved that. Swapped the thermostat and housing. Note*** do not install the hose back on to the thermostat housing yet.

Oh, the PC mounted I painted black yesterday after taking it apart, sanding and painting. I didn't want to pay $165 for the plate to be powder coated.

Last thing, I used about 2.5 ft of extensions to move the sway bar away from the main pulley; way easier than trying to get to the bolts from below.

The stage 2 intercooler is :eyebulge: I think it is bigger than the IC I used on my Evo and I ran a GT35R pushing 35lbs of boost in that thing!

Day 3.5

I was beat yesterday after the install. Finished everything including the Front bumper last night; was up till 12. That also means no data logging last night for the tune today. Tune will have to wait till next week.

Install was pretty straight forward...Things are tight! Especially the hose mounting to the PC. to make it even worse the Pro Valve pipe is a bitch to mount get it all in there. BUT I did it and it is not pitching the intake pipe.

the intake pipe s a MF but i knew that going into it. It was cut funny so I had to trim it a bit. Also, none of the clamps would fit so I had to go but a 4.3-4.6 T bolt clamp.

I also did not use the hard line PC gives you for the BOV. I went and picked up 6 feet of vacuum line for the BOV and another barb fitting for the vacuum block. I also picked up 10ft for my Lund boost gauge.

If I had to do it all over again I could get it done in under 7 hours I believe. Eventually I will get all t-clamps and hope to get boostworks hard pipe for the Race Valve.

Day 4

Sent my initial logs to Lund WOOOTTTTTT!!!!

Today is hopefully a small tune return so I can drive to Discount Tire for the tire install. While I would love to go shred the existing tires to pieces, I do not think I will be able to :(

I took a few shots while i was doing an idle log. I had to go to the school down the street from my house otherwise the neighbors would come screaming when I did the RPM log.

!!!!!!IT SOUNDS AWESOME!!!!!!
