Every time I just quit thinking about these (like the price increase) something pops up to tell me I need to buy them. I have Eruption Green and these would look GREAT on it. hmmmmm

Yea I am going to call them tomorrow. See if they will do the $799 delivered. The wheels are made by the same manufacturer as the SVE wheels. I have had the SVE X500 wheels for almost 3 yrs. now and love the M1 style wheels.

I like your SVE X500s as well. The pics of them on your car has made me look them up a few times as well.

Thanks..I am going back and forth. Just did a trip to Japan for the whole family and spent $10K, I am not really looking for another expenditure...LOL.

A lot of us hate black wheels
No wonder, they get lost in the darkness with the tire, but neither of the Mach 1 wheels are luckily black and all three look great in all angles and under any light :like:

Bright rims change the character, they draw the attention on themselves. And bird-nest wheels do it fantastically, if that's the look you want :)

Alright everyone - my grand idea and vision in my head may not have necessarily played out. They're here, ceramic coated, and gorgeous... Though it's such a drastic departure from what aggressiveness and anger the car had previously - now it's just more calm, classy, and we'll - I kinda feel underwhelmed.

They're the factory Ford 10.5/11 HP wheels, sent to California for some chrome, with that PS4S's (which are amazing by the way over the PSC2's).

They're fantastic, beautiful, bright, perfect condition, just... I'm not sure this is what I was looking for. Though here they are.

Please let me know what you think. I may be switching back sooner than I had anticipated. Maybe they'll grow on me. Maybe they won't. I have a set of the Platinum finished ones too sitting in boxes. Shit at this point maybe black would have been the ticket?

Maybe the factory color is the way to go. Never know unless we try, right?

maybe its a changing of taste as you get older thing?
in my late teens and 20s, I thought chrome was the best, the bigger/flashier the better without being ridiculous, eg 20s on a 18s car is fine, but no 22s

ive always like black everything, so I really digged the stock black wheels of hte premium GT in my 30s, (im late 30s now)

i always thought the bullit wheels were a bit boring, too subtle, not special, I saw my car with bullit wheels in the photo, didnt like it to be honest and was thiniing about cancelling it,
when it arrived, I now love them, i think they still look boring in photos, but in person theyre gorgeous

Fact...like it or not. Obviously the OP liked a non black wheel as well.
Looks like OP asked for opinions. So I gave mine… I don’t remember talking to you… you sound like I came in here and hurt your feelings. Keep spitting “facts” if it makes you feel better. 😂

Not a fan of chrome, and black/near black wheels hide the wheel details, so in person during the day they look ok, but they don’t photograph well and they lose a ton of detail at night. I’d go glossy gun metal grey to keep that aggressive look but still be able to see details in the wheels in all conditions.

You didn't hurt my feelings. The fact you're making it personal shows what a whiny bitch you are. Respond if you must, don't give a shit.

I like these wheels because the cup 2 tires are a bit much as a DD. Retired so no office trips anymore. Oh yes a manual trans also. Such a great trans. I liked chrome wheels back in the 60’s but not on the current crop of performance cars. I think chrome wheels belong to the vette crowd from what I see at car shows. Not knocking the C8 but Chevy stopped the chrome option in 2020.

The chrome grows on me. Initially I thought 'bleh' but then it's nice to see something different. Have a bit of patience and see what they look like in a week or two. Or, wait a few years and chrome will be the rave again. Maybe wrap the side window surround in chrome also?

I like the chrome, i believe the "busy-ness" of this wheel is amplified in chrome over black. So maybe a less busy wheel like a P51 or etc would look better to me.
