Nice car! I love how the FJG looks blue in lots of photos.

If you are still with us, OP, the major differences between the HP and the non-HP are the tires/wheels, splitter, adjustable top strut mount (which you have) and slight tuning differences.

For the $3,500 price tag you could easily pick up similar items I would think.

I am not so sure of that.
Only the tires at least here in Sweden are around 2000 USD

Then rims, pick whatever aftermarket that is somewhat reputable will set you back 1500-2000 USD

I would think the rear spoiler is 600-800 USD?
Front splitter 300-600USD?

The wheel upgrade was wrong on the website (it's since been corrected). It was showing the handling pack wheels as the upgrade though that was never the case. The upgrade is the wheel from the HPP Ecoboost. The front splitter, big rear wing and the larger wheels with the rims you thought you were getting is all part of the Handling pack which was not available in Job 1. On another note how's the gearing? Is there some pull and torque down low? I know the 18 to 20's had terrible gearing and 2 over drives. Hoping the Tremec is better.
So, if you pick the $398 wheels, they are the 19x10.5(f)19x11(r) ? That is the confusion I am finding. Also, I didn't see the option to choose the Handling Package ($3500) either. I did see they added the car cover eventually.

No, the $395 upgrade wheels are the same size as the base wheels. Handling package isn’t yet an option on build and price, but can currently be ordered through the dealership

Yes, Ford’s build site has been wrong since they got it up and running. That’s why OP ended up ordering the wrong car

Shouldn't Ford have to "make good" on what they have shown and you paid for from their site? Error on not. Also, if I may ask, how do you know which is the correct wheel size? Thanks. Not busting chops, just trying to understand.

Yes the car has adjustable strut tops. The rim widths Iam positive of. I measured them myself. As far as I know and what I have spoke on the phone with Ford. HP is not available as of now.

Correct me if I'm not understanding. You have the Mach 1 and not the Handling Package ($3500) and selected the $395 wheel upgrade option and indeed they are 19x10.5(f) and 19x11(r) ?

Eh, I think there are multiple points of failure on this. Ford definitely should have their build and price tool running optimally, but it’s also the buyer’s responsibility to be well educated on the product they’re purchasing. Ultimately, I think the dealership should’ve been able to give him a hand, and when they realized they ordered the wrong car, given the seller the option to opt out and order another

Correct wheel sizes are listed on the actual Ford buyer’s guide

Wheels are advertised by their bead width not actual edge to edge. So a wheel advertised as 9.5 in width is 10.5 edge to edge.

The source for truth though, is FORD and their info on their build site is defective apparently. By thie section here, it looks like the Magnetic-painted Aluminum Wheels are part of 700A which the build shows regardless of selecting the optional tire or not. Correct me if I'm missing something here. Thanks.

The order guide is not the build and price site. On the build and price site the sizes are 10.5 and 11 for the performance (395 option) wheels. When I ordered mine 6 weeks ago, the sizes were the correct 9.5 and 10.
It is really irritating that the folks putting out the B & P and even the dealers themselves don't take the 30 minutes per model to confirm stuff. Really unfair to the OP.
Those of us that are seasoned in the S550 and read practically everything knew the info was wrong. But, then, so often the brochures and literature and articles are full of false info so we're used to trying to sort it out.
On the other hand, the HP is a $3,500 option and just pricing the car would immediately tell you that it wasn't in the B&P.

It doesn't say it is part of, it says available and the only optional tire is part of the HP package.
