I am considering the same move right now between cars! When the ADM's hit, I said screw it and picked up a low mileage CBA instead which is now FBO/E85. It's quicker, but I never really fell in love with it. I'm thinking about making the jump finally.

I'd love to hear your thoughts/reasoning on choosing the GT350 instead.

The GT-R is certainly quicker with a FBO/E85 setup. My 2013 Black Edition was fun with FBO/E85 and I enjoyed the 600+ AWHP from 2,500 miles until 63K in less than 2 years. The GT-R is great but I grew tired of it and the more common they got here in South, Fl the less I wanted to keep it. It was also noisier, uncomfortable and they're just dated to me now. The 2017 face lifted GT-R is amazing and has some nice features/upgrades vs the early model GT-R's but for the $$$ I would still take the GT350 especially an R over a GT-R.

The GT350 also feels special to me. Even being a non GT350R I just can't get enough of it. I drive mine every single day and handles extremely well for being a RWD sports car vs the AWD GT-R and is much more comfortable to live with daily.

Best part is not many around my area have one and it's something different that is still a blast to drive! Lot's of cool tech, a 6MT, 8,250.00 rpm redline, Flat Plane Crank V8, Magnetic shocks and has a very unique sounding V8.

I personally would not give my car up for any pre 17 GT-R! Maybe trade one day for a 2017 GT-R but again, for the $$$ and exclusivity I would still take a 2018 GT350 R. It's that good and a hell of a car for the money.

I have had Nissan/Infiniti last 8 years and the GT350 sure did surprise the hell out of me. I am a huge enthusiast of this platform and will be hard to get away from it now. Never thought I would ever say that about a Mustang because I personally never liked any of them! Not even the GT's or after tracking the Roush supercharged RS3's that made 670HP could make me buy one. The GT350 feels completely different and I am grateful and very happy to have it.

Thanks! I really appreciate the perspective. In Houston, it's the same way. I bet we have 50-100 R35's and a bunch of Skylines. Plenty of guys going between vettes, mustangs, camaros, and even P-cars for comparison. Not many GTR guys going back RWD/V8. lol While both are somewhat expensive to track on consumables, the repair costs on the GTR are outrageous. I miss a stick shifted N/A v8 after I sold my C6Z.

Finally added my JLT Carbon Fiber (Hydrodipped) Intake with Lund Racing "Flex Tune" to run E85.

No other mods besides GTHAUS Catback being added soon.

I love the M-X series best! M-X1 might be next but staying 20"

Smallest sizes we offer is 19" only. No plans just yet for 18" forged options.
