They don't use stuck/OEM lugnuts. They are spline lugnuts.
Are you saying that you simply used the spline lug nuts that came with the wheels, or are you saying stock style lug nuts physical will not work? Those are two different things.

Thanks for the additional pics! I like how classy and simple they are. Great look for your ride. The reason I like black on yellow is for the contrast. I have gun metal coloured wheels for winter and I think they look okay but yellow needs black wheels to look mean IMHO. On red, blue, dark green and other richer colours I would rock bright silver or even bronze wheels. I only find black wheels ideal for bright colours.
Bronze looks great against Tripple Yellow.

Yeah, spline has nothing to do with it. Spline drive (or hex nut, or hex socket) relates to the socket type you need, not how it fits the wheel.

If the stock lug nuts don't fit these are probably small diameter 60° conical seat, like a bunch of the aftermarket wheels (and SVE wheels).

Oem type won't work the ones required for SVE wheels are smaller in diameter.

Ugh, I hate that. Thanks though.

So I know some guys are running these on track cars. What are those guys doing that have to run an open lug nut?

@Dave2013M3: Of all the wheels in my shortlist I think I will end up buying the same set of silver X500 SVE. My question is how do you decide between a (295,275)/35/19 vs a (305,285)/35/19. Is it the availability of tires in those sizes? I see the Michelin PS4S in 295, 275 but not in 305,285/35/19.

Could you post more pics (looking from the rear/front) to show how much, if any, the wheel/tire pokes out.

Damn good question. I was going to go with the NItto 555G2 in the 285/35/19 and 305/35/19 but didn't hear to kindly on these tires not to mention they were quite a bit heavy vs. others. If I was to do it all again I would go with the 285/35/19 Mich PS4s and the 305/35/19 MIch PSS. I know the PSS is one generation older, but still a very good tire and the 4S is only marginally better than the SS. I like the fact the newer generation tire is on the front.

That being said I am very happy with my ContiSportContact Extreme in the 275/35/19 and 295/35/19. They are equal to the Mich PSS in everyway. A fresh pic for you...

This one shows the poke pretty good..

The fronts with the ET35 don't poke at all, in fact I am thinking of adding a 5mm spacer. The rears with an ET50 are perfect.

This thread helped me choose the X500 wheels in bronze for my car! Can't wait to post pictures in a week or two (waiting on tires). I ended up choosing nt555g2 in 285,305/35/19. I was very close to michelin pss/p4s but my FIL with a camaro loves his nt555g2 so I gave em a chance.
