Meet my 2017 Mustang GT Performance Pack in Magnetic!
This is my second Mustang. I previously had a Magnetic 2013 Mustang GT Brembo with full bolt-ons making about 430 WHP. Parted with it after 50k miles in August 2016. Given an offer I couldn't refuse. I immediately placed an order for a S550.
Fast forward to January 20th, 2017. My baby arrives with only 6 miles on the odometer. It was a VERYYYY cold 20F, so I had the car towed to a local tire shop to have winter tires mounted on the factory wheels. Unfortunately, the shop damaged one of the wheels while they had it and refuse to accept responsibility...gotta love it. The car is an absolute blast to drive. The car has about 1500 miles on it right now and every bit of it has been a dream come true! It handles wayyy better than the 2013 and the ride is so much more compliant. Even the fiance' was like: "this feels more like an expensive luxury car than a Mustang."
Also, as an American having the opportunity to live in Germany, I very much enjoy all the fun having access to the wonderful Bundesautobahn brings.
Current Mods:
-Shelby GT350 Steering Wheel -CJPP H-Pipe
-CJPP Resonator Delete H-Pipe
-11-12 GT500 Mufflers (used, from SVTPerformance Forums)
-Steeda Sport Progressive Springs
-Summer Setup: Project6GR Satin Graphite 20x10/20x11
...-Continental SportContact6 (F-275/35 R-305/30)
-Winter Setup: Factory GT/PP wheels
...-Continental WinterContact TS850P (255/40R19)
...-25mm Spacers
The goal is a clean and understated look. I am not a big fan of flashy. Forced induction isn't in the cards, at least anytime soon as I don't want to worry about warranty issues. (totally not because I don't have the $8-10k needed for a good TVS or TT setup)
Somewhat short term plan:
-Ford Performance Power Pack 2
-More suspension work
