I didn’t have an 18 GT so I’m not sure if it’s a downgrade or not, but it’s definitely a downgrade if it’s a 15-17 GT
The 15-17 GT was also $7k cheaper on average until mid 2017.

I would call it an even trade with the GT and Scat Pack. I like both vehicles equally for different reasons.

Either way is fine, just sort of a strange comment since it's clearly not a downgrade in any way.

Anyone complaining about the PP brakes being taking too much effort needs to have them looked at. It took quite an adjustment to keep from yanking my teeth out with the PP brakes.
I test drove one and going from my base model gt to the brembos, my father and i almost ate windshield. OP needs to have his looked at lol

I have used my 15 GTPP on the track many many days, for three years now. I find the Brembo brakes more than adequate for stopping from speeds approaching 145 mph all day long. No fade or other problems. I run Michelin Pilot Sport Cup II tires and find the combination outstanding.

This is the first time I've heard someone say that the PP brakes require significant effort. I only used my big toe to avoid whiplash on my test drive.
My 2018 Brembos are almost too touchy.
