I'm sure there's many ways to do this but this worked perfect with no drips.
It's just a two quart milk jug cut to fit and then I tie-wrapped it to stay in place so it would not fall down.
My car is a 2019 GT with the PP1 package that has the trap door.

goid idea. will try this next time. so far I've been using a tall ziploc bag that I slide on a filter before unscrewing it. Works most of the time.

I just put a few paper towels off to the side and loosen the filter a bit until oil starts a light stream.
I let it go till it stops. Careful spin off, wipe with a few paper towels and it's done. No big deal.

If needed, I will shoot a little all purpose down there when I wash the motor.

That's the first time I've seen one used that way. I have a lot more plastic in that region LOL, glad it works for you. You can also use that milk jug as a funnel to fill it with oil as well.

I will have to rig one up using your sample.

I just used it again today and did not use a tie-wrap and it stuck up there. As far as using a few paper towels instead, mine drains a lot of oil out of the filter. A few paper towels ain't going to cut it.
