My front tires are wearing on the inside shoulders.

With only 11,000 miles on the tires and a completely stock suspension, there won’t be many miles left on them. I’m assuming the car is still within factory alignment specs. I do not track the car and was wondering if I have an alignment to preserve the tires, will I notice any adverse effects?

Can't really tell from the pics but it looks like a little cupping which is a toe in problem. Never assume the alignment is correct because it takes nothing but a good pot hole to change all that.

Some shops will not do alignments on cars with tires that are worn asymmetrically like that. You obviously need an alignment, and will likely need new tires soon, but I doubt there would be any adverse effects due to the wear pattern, at least until they're down to the cords.

Hi , your results are caused by the factory alignment , you are more then likely in spec . Ford ships these out the door half ready for track racing with a very
race friendly , tire hating alignment . My tires were trash with 14,000 miles on them , I had my alignment tech at work (Ford) set it up on the rack , it was "in spec"
but he said he could make it more "normal" for everyday driving . I said do it , and after spirited driving , I could not tell a performance difference but that I should
get twice the life out of the front . It is still in spec , but on the opposite side of the spectrum .

having camber means the insides wear sooner especially if you drive straight most of the time. Same thing happened to my pp1 tires. No getting around it really while maintaining performance capability.

If they are cupped it's more toe than camber, if evenly worn down inside or outside it would likely be camber. The toe causes them to scrub along.

Stock alignment calls for slight toe “out” which increases scrubbing on the inside shoulder and increased wear. It also enhances turn in and response in aggressive driving. Mine is purely a street car so I re-set the toe to just a hair of toe-in to increase tire life. I have 10,500 miles now and so far tires are still doing OK.

Both my front tires looked like this with 15K on them , new tires , less aggressive alignment , and 5K on them and look perfect , so far so good !

Are you running stock suspension and do you have your new alignment specs?

100% Stock suspension , I don't have the specs unfortunately ... I saw them on the screen they were all in the green and the tech told
me he had them more to the opposite of what they were from the factory . I noticed no real difference in handling except having
new sneakers made a world of difference . This tech has prolly done 10,000 alignments , it seems spot on to me .

Note to self....
When I buy, have the settings changed before I drive off. No big deal.

Mine looked just like this with 17k miles. I am having the alignment done on Saturday to a more street friendly setup.

Just had my car aligned. The readout page is below. Front camber was changed very little and caster was left alone. The toe was adjusted in the front and the rear was spot on and untouched. I only took it for a short drive, but tramlining appears to be nearly gone.

On a side note, the jacking rails proved their worth. The nose of the car cleared going onto the rack, but the jacking rails did made light contact. My pinch welds would have been damaged for sure.

You didn’t have much toe out but at speed it probably increases slightly. Combination of neg camber and toe out were apparently hard on your inner shoulders. With slight toe in now, maybe it will do a bit better on tire wear.
