I want to drive a C7Z 7 manual and new GT500. I'm curious if I'd feel they're worth the price difference from what I have.

I like to disassemble things.
C8 and GT500 are both in the same boat for me, they look cool but no stick-shift, no care.
Now you can be the first on your block.

Keep telling myself what? I want a manual, don't have it I won't buy it. Doesn't mean I don't think the GT500 is an awesome car, I do.

Sorry Dave. It just seems like a lot of guys want to come on here and bash the GT500. Iā€™ve driven plenty of stick shift cars, Porsche PDKā€™s, this is the best transmission Iā€™ve ever experienced. My buddy has a 6 speed GT PP and itā€™s great as well.

I'm not bashing the GT500 (or the C8) by any means, it's outside of what I can convince myself to pay for a toy, especially as I'm die hard 3 pedals.

That manual conversion is awesome that it exists, but adds more to the bottom line of a car already outside of my budget. Hats off to anyone who can afford it, and is satisfied with the transmission that comes with it.

Man I have to assume that once people start finding the limits of the DCT and need a replacement this swap will almost pay for itself. Sell your DCT to someone who blew theirs, but wants a replacement.

Wow to say the least what my GT500 has done to me. Itā€™s a good thing but at the same time it
dude, what's with the highway test drive?

Next time Left off RT7 eastbound about 1.5 miles from dealership, onto Seneca and R onto Beach Mill.

And the GM trans programmer needs to be shot and hanged. Upshifts at 2000 RPM? WT hell in tarnation?!?! The motor like the Coyote loves to sing. Shifts should be at 3500 and not before.

I'd be stopping by to ask, or see....did they do this to maybe one car so far and then decided to put this kit together? Numerous cars? None? Any quirks or issues (there always is)...?

Personally, I was very surprised to learn the GT500 was only offered with the automatic.

When I shopped Corvette the very first option looked for was a manual box. The automatic takes something away from the thrill of the performance, and the knob buries it.

Calling an automatic, DCT is like calling a skunk a black & white cat, does nothing to change the smell.

GT500 kick-ass car needs a manual box to sell it.....

No worries, I too have driven and owned BMW's to Porsche's from DCT to PDK. Never got to drive a GT500, would love to. I'm not ragging at all on the GT500, just want one with a manual. Especially for the amount of money you need to spend to get a GT500. That is 992.2S territory and I can get it with a 7spd. manual.
