About 300 produced at this time.
Dang that's a lot of vehicles, Earl but probably not in the eyes of the company. And, based on that loading clip I saw and the potential number of auto racks from the Google Earth image, I'd say they could get all three hundred moving in no time.

Question is, when? It LOOKS like JW's vehicle (0690) is already moving though.

Good to hear Leo is still at FRAP. I wish he could see chassis number.

It'll be interesting to see the percentage numbers for color choice. I think the orange looks great but would hate to be bumped to next year because of the batch choices Ford made.

And thanks J. I just wish we got the vents too!
Congrats, very cool. I ordered the exact combination except the black roof. Won't see mine till spring, I hope. Also no stripe, had lots of trouble with the stripe on my gt350, had to be redone 3 times before it was right.

I had already relayed that to Tob last night. I didn't wish to correct Harry on a public forum again.

All the 2020 GT500's have sequencial VINs , L5500001 - L55001304. 1304 is the highest VIN so far. About 300 produced at this time.
Awesome information and appreciate your insight on these VIN's as in the past Mustang VIN's (last 6 digits) for various models were all lumped in together.

Of course the preceding 11 digits indicate specific model, engine size, model year, assembly plant and then the final 6 digit sequence code.

With this being the case it is obvious that Ford has assigned a specific VIN series for the GT500 model (last 6 digits) and a different VIN series for the GT350/R models and all of the other Mustangs models.

If L5501304 is the highest VIN so far for the GT500 that certainly indicates that another ~1000 GT500's are just around the corner from a production standpoint as typically VIN's/window stickers are not issued for any of these cars until they are ~2 to 3 weeks out.

Thanks again for the attached information.

Congrats. Love the color combo, that’s exactly what my Z06 was. If I order a 500 I’ll be going with the combo and black roof. Can’t wait for your first drive review!
