Thank you for those who suggested that I go with a E tune from a professional company, I chose to work with Purple Drank Tuning and am very happy with the results of the decision.

Below is a picture of my best run of the night, 3 out of 4 races the car did the quarter mile in the 12 second range.

Before the runs, I lowered the rear tire pressures to about 26 psi warm and left the front ones alone (33 psi cold). The car had a little below half a tank of fuel during the races.

The best part of all this is that the tuning process is not yet complete, so the car will be running even better with future upcoming tuning revisions.

I brake boost to around 2100 to 2200 rpm with the gear selector in S mode. I let the transmission shift by itself but the car was launching from 1st gear. It always start off from 1st gear in S mode.


I could launch at a higher rpm but the car might spin off the line, drag radials will help at that point.

I don't think the trans tune did that, it did firm up the shifts and sped it up.

When I brake boost at the light, I mostly do it by feel and maybe look at the tach for a second or so. My eyes are usually fixed at the staging tree.

What gears does your car have? Mine is the base model with 3:15 gears.

Mine is also 3:15 gear. I use a Holley Sniper Shift Light, I set the launch light at 1800 when using 1st gear and 2500 when I launch in 2nd gear. I've been told that on the 2018 and newer 10spd, you can tune it to launch in 1st gear at 2500 RPM, but haven't located such tune yet!?

I occasionally go all the way down to Bradenton Motorsports Park from Orlando for quarter mile fun, maybe I will get to race you!
