My 1st Mach1 sighting in the wild

No kidding, I’ve never seen one on the road until today and of all places it was outside of Browning, Montana a few miles from East Glacier (National Park). FJG with louvers on the rear window. Pretty surreal and the wife and kids were going crazy.

I have only seen one, a FJG one too. I was outside DC but in the wife’s Hyundai. It is a rare sight!

Pulled up to a light and saw a black HP only 2 cars over. My kid said what are the chances.

Now that you guys mention this, I have not seen one Mach 1 at all in Houston.

I took a trip in mine from where I live to Rosemont, Chicago a couple weekends ago. Saw many mustangs, challengers, chargers, a few porches, but not a single mustang was a Mach 1.

Seems like every Mach 1 I've ever seen other than mine has been FJG. It's the Mustang version of the Black 1977/8/9 Trans Am.

I believe I saw stats for the build specs showing over 50% of all Mach 1s built as of 2021 are FJG.
Kinda wish I got something different but at the same time the only other two I've seen in person have been Velocity blue.

I didn't realize how nice VB actually looked till I saw someone post a picture on the forums here since Fords US site was showing what grabber blue is for the VB on the build part of their site. Partly my own fault for not trying to look it up further cause I'm just not a fan of the bright blue myself, although the new Metallic GB looks awesome cause the flake, still wouldn't want that bright of blue myself though.

I loved my VB performance package, used to get so many compliments on the color but it was time for something different...the car looks great in any of it's available colors...Still get a ton of compliments on the FJG but I think it's more of no one sees mustangs that color.

...I saw my first on the road last Saturday; an Orange one.
We were booking up I-40 west in NC on the Harley when I noticed on
the other side going east the unusual hood stripe.

A year ago we were down @ the NC coast looking at houses when
I noticed a FJG one under a carport/garage.

As much time as we spend on the road, you'd think we'd see 'em all the time..........

Other than mine(I’m in Cypress) I’ve only seen 1 in Houston.

Saw one in Raleigh last July at a C&C.
First and only one in the wild.
Didn't even know I needed one at that point.
I always browse the C&C to see what grabs my attention.
The Lambo's and Ferrari's are fun to look at, but out of my league.
This one grabbed my attention.
Should have ordered back then!
