Holy cow, very nice. When you say street tires, are they the stock tires?

I would think with stock tires you would’ve gotten at least a tenth or two better.

Can't say for sure but I know with drag radials I'd be at least 11.30s. 60 ft was 1.85.
This video here is last year running 11.75 but with a bad headwind which is why mph way down . I've only been to the track 3 times and once was 1 run and done.

I actually think the harder tires are better in this case because they allow for more wheel spin to launch the car easier getting it up to speed in the power band. My reason for that is the complaints from testers of the 2019 GT350 with the cup tires providing too much traction and difficulty getting the car to launch without bogging down.

That's a very impressive time for just an E85 tune.

Well actually that's not the case in dragracing. If they can't launch with sticky tires then they have no clue how to use the power or the clutch. If I put drag radials on I'd easily have 1.6 short times.

Is this a “flex” tune or dedicated E85 tune ?
Very impressive either way !

Sorry. I sent Burnin the timeslip. 12.97 @120.19 is off memory . I'm not home to look. Picked up 31 in back half. But you can see first and half of second spinning really screwed me up .
Yeah , car certainly definitely runs strong for just a flex tune . Whose tune ?
Mine did not honestly pick up much trap (may be 2 mph from stock@ 119 mph with best of 12.1)

I know you are a seasoned drag racer from your previous posts. Congrats again for improving your time from 2 years ago .

I have had a Whipple on mine for about a year but have not had a chance to run it since .

I bent a rod early this year getting logs and had motor rebuilt /sleeved .
Engine is back in the car but now have issues with the Spec clutch I had installed at the same time (pedal sticking ... may be bad slave ) so not driven it since . It’s too cold now to even drive on the street .

I'm not advocating massive amounts of wheel spin. Managing any wheel spin requires proper use of the clutch. I'm just suggesting that many professional journalists have had trouble launching the GT350 for good 0-60 and quarter mile times because of the extremely high revs required to break the tires loose to keep the engine from bogging. As Ford as said many times, this car is not a drag car, wasn't built for it, no low end torque to get her rolling. Same is true for the GT 5.0. The Camaro blows its doors off thru the quarter but keep going to a half mile and the Camaro is no where in sight. As a side note, the temp outside today was 55 degrees and I had a ton of fun running hard acceleration runs thru second gear without putting any undue stress on my clutch without 5K RPM launches. Cup 2 tires demand respect in cold temps but they sure are a lot of fun.

Have you had it dyno'ed? Curious how much power the tune adds.

I was toying with the idea of taking my stock GT350 to the strip once.

I used to drag race all the time. The "clutch protection" in the GT500 drove me nuts. I figured the GT350 would have something similar, but maybe not if you could slip the clutch to a 1.85 60 ft.

What was your 60 foot? those winter tires dont have a listed treadwear rating from what I can see. Interesting
