This is an interesting development.

Yesterday, Sunday morning, I was at this place again. The green '67 was there too. Yesterday I parked on the other side of the parking lot, not at all near the green '67.

When I returned to my car a few hours later, the green '67 was gone and I found an envelope on my windshield.

Here's the letter that was inside:

I'm still trying to unpack this all....

Initially I thought this person printed my photo from this board (I haven't posted that anywhere else) but when I compared the photos, they're not the same photo. Different perspective, different cars in the background, etc.

So the owner of the green '67 took this picture last month. Then yesterday, saw I was parked on the other side of the parking lot and somehow printed out the photo and judgmental note. This is at a school, so access to a printer and envelope isn't that unexpected, but it is a Sunday morning and school is closed, so I guess perhaps a school employee?

Then there's the content of the note....
First of all: Rude!
Second: Envious much!?!
You should print your picture and leave a note on his car. What part of slow don't you understand? Out of all the slow piles of shit in this world you picked this ugly slow pile of shit. If I win the lottery I'm not going to send you a damn thing, have a nice day....

My ‘20 GT convertible and my 16 year old son’s ‘86 GT. His first car, only 17,000 original miles! It was stored for 20 years of its life! He wanted a fox-body since he was old enough to say ‘Mustang!”

Any interest in adopting another Son? Lol. Nice!

My 2020 GT purchase actually started on the hunt for a very nice Fox Body. They are appreciating super fast and will soon be unattainable in that condition. This was the Convertible I was looking at, had the seller returned my message things may have turned out different but in the end my desire for a S550 was still there and I would be afraid of damaging the Fox Body as I would drive it 4-5 times a week. Finding nice convertibles are much easier than Fastbacks.

Thank you!

The car is a "needle in a haystack".

Teaching my son how to detail. His car had 35 years of crap on the finish. Clayed x 2, compound, polish, finishing glaze, then ceramic.
The white pads were dark gray by the time he was finished. He spent 16 hours total. Better than gaming lol.

Couldn't agree more! I taught my 12 y.o. son the same thing but with my car lol.
