I parked a respectful distance away from this '67

This is an interesting development.

Yesterday, Sunday morning, I was at this place again. The green '67 was there too. Yesterday I parked on the other side of the parking lot, not at all near the green '67.

When I returned to my car a few hours later, the green '67 was gone and I found an envelope on my windshield.

Here's the letter that was inside:

I'm still trying to unpack this all....

Initially I thought this person printed my photo from this board (I haven't posted that anywhere else) but when I compared the photos, they're not the same photo. Different perspective, different cars in the background, etc.

So the owner of the green '67 took this picture last month. Then yesterday, saw I was parked on the other side of the parking lot and somehow printed out the photo and judgmental note. This is at a school, so access to a printer and envelope isn't that unexpected, but it is a Sunday morning and school is closed, so I guess perhaps a school employee?

Then there's the content of the note....
First of all: Rude!
Second: Envious much!?!

Talk about looking a gift "horse" in the mouth! Someone offers to share their lottery winnings with you and you aren't grateful?

May be it was not the owner of the 67 ?

Could have been a “400 lb guy who lives in his mum’s basement” who may not even own a mustang .. or any car ?
😜

so....something seems to be missing here...
was there somewhere in this forum that was said either one of the cars looked "dull"?
not sure what the purpose of the letter would be then other than jealousy?
unless im missing something....

Possible, but it would be a very odd coincidence that the '67 was there again when I got the letter.

Jealousy is when you worry someone will take what you have.
Envy is wanting what someone else has.
Relevant Simpsons clip

I just don't understand the thought process that gets someone to do this.

Maybe it was the owner's teenage kid, and there's a TikTok of this floating around or something.
