The great ship Tijuca has departed the UK and taking the long trip to Baltimore to pick up our baby ponies in Baltimore!

If you want to torture yourself and watch it's progress then you can follow it here: http://findship.co/

The final journey on our journey towards Gen 6, S550 ownership is about to commence!

This is what the fine ship looks like (is that colour Race Red?!)

vesselfinder.com seems to work best to track ships.

Tijuca has avoided icebergs (unlike some famous ships!) and is approaching the USA coast (in red 'brackets'): https://www.vesselfinder.com/?imo=9377511

ETA at Baltimore is Dec 05, 01:00

Mustangs are Go

Under the cloak of darkness, our Mustangs have commenced their journey home... May the Fords be with you!

Tijuca must have departed at about 4am:

Checked my car and it is "loaded". Nice.

Now I can put it to the back of my mind till the new year.

Mine is loaded too, although I don't think I can put it in the back of my mind :-)

You and I must be the only ones with cars on the ship. It is awfully quiet in here!

I had that thought as well. Just shows how few owners there really are on this forum. My car (and probably yours) is one of 134 due to be delivered in Melbourne. And only you and me here in this thread.

I have a mate with a Magnetic GT Fastback on this boat bound for Port Kembla.

He's not on M6G though.

Have been sending him screenshots of WWL and Marine Traffic.

I'm doing a similar thing for my partners brother, whose car is on the Tango. Some people are just not keen enough to make the effort to use a forum, or perhaps it is just because they actually have lives :-)

It might be helpful if a local version of this decal was available to help publicise this website, so that people know it exists.

I don't know about you SteamPlane, but I feel a bit like I have just received an invitation to a party that actually happen last weekend!

We seem to attract a lot from Whirlpool (unfortunately).

I'm actually OK with the fact that M6G isn't that well known/patronised by locals - it generally means that we get enthusiasts who go out of their way to find it.
Agreed - although once you collect more than four or five together you will get a Yuvi in your group ;)

I must admit though; I was kind of looking forward to a wider group on my voyage. At least now I know there are no idiots on my ship (unless I'm it ).

Welcome aboard CBF_Deeb; hopefully it will be a pleasant trip!

I notice the ship is 'out of range' of the ship tracking services already. That seems a bit strange in this day and age.

Pretty sure the free level of the ship tracking services simply use coastal radar. If you pay their $300+ per year subscription you can have satellite tracking. I'm keen, but not that keen :D
