We dont know what the new gt500 traps.Huh? The Z06 has 57 less hp than a Hellcat and traps 3-4 more mph. The Hellcat traps 124-125 mph, give or take, and the Z06 is almost 130 mph (don't remember the exact mph off the top of my head). That 1,000 lbs really hurts the Hellcat. The GT500 will be 3,920/4,000 lbs (track pack/ standard) and trap around 130-132 mph in the 1/4 mile. The standard GT500 will trap 1 or 2 mph more than the track pack because of the extra aero work on the track pack car.
Heck, even the 797 hp Redeye Hellcat widebody only trapped 125 mph per Car and Driver. It's over 4,500 lbs.
My point in bringing up the hellcat is the superior ZF a8 transmission compared to the a8 transmission made by GM. If the DCT ford uses is superior (i mean it must be since they use a DCT in the Ford GT, and they ditched the a10), then the GT500 may be close to the ZR1.
