I have 840 miles on my 2018 gt350 and hope to enjoy many more this summer. Knowing the rate the rate out of production OEM parts appreciate and the chances that I am going to bang up my front splitter, I want to purchase a back up.

What is the best price you have seen for an authentic OEM gt350 front splitter?

Thank you I advance.

I bought my backup from a FB GT350 forum member for $250 (new). Under $300 should be a good going rate for new OEM front splitters.

Pay attention when you are driving and you will never need one. It will be a waste of money!
Lol, for most maybe. Im lowered, and I get the occasional scrape and rubs on driveways weekly. Doesn't hurt to grab a backup on a part like that for the long term, especially if they stop producing our cars soon.

Neither of which will help when a raccoon or possum darts out in front of you. With my luck it will be seven years from now and a new old stock splitter with be ten times current priceS.

On other vehicles with a splitter, I’ve used a new razor blade to carefully trim off the affected ABS.

I bought one from white bear lake ford in Minn.
Month. I had my03 terminator for 15 years and the price of the Lower front chin Trim tripled by the time I needed a new one. I also have a horrible driveway for low cars...so I will be replacing it eventually..

Ford has to produce parts for something like 10 years or longer after production has stopped so you will be able to get one anytime really.

I used SlipLo on mine. The ZL-1 AddOns probably work well on relatively flat splitters like on Camaros. However, with the more curved and undulating splitters on 350's, I think SlipLo provides much better protection. And if you chose to spend the extra money, you can literally cover the entire underside of your splitter with them. A box of ten 12" pieces costs about $100 - more than enough for one row of protection. Follow the instructions exactly, and be sure to use an adhesion promoter.
