No reason to expect that to happen, at the very least not this quickly.

Anybody who tends to be an 'early adopter' of big changes and new things and is already OK with this is not likely to suddenly turn around and be not-OK with it any more.

Among those who have been not-OK with it from the get-go, there are those who never will be OK with it.

And there will be those who may gradually become OK with it (at least to the point of grudgingly tolerating it). Emphasis on "gradually" here, and not nearly enough time has passed yet. Even Ford has given the matter about a year for the commotion to settle before the 'E' goes on sale, and I don't believe for an instant that as far as current Mustang fans go they weren't primarily looking at this group while carefully considering the timing of their announcement.

I was really hoping this thread would die..........and that Mach E was just a bad dream. What I hate most about this whole thing is I never, ever thought there would be a Mustang I despise. I pride myself in loving ALL Mustangs.......from the poor old II to an SN95 on 30" rims.......underneath, I know there Mustang DNA is there and they are family. But Mach E? It was never meant to be a Mustang.......but Ford made it so and I CANNOT bring myself to like it , never mind love it! Name, badge and a set of triple tail lamps aside, it shares nothing with our beloved ponies :crying:

So, I'm just trying to forget it exists. So please stop posting in this thread :punch:

Sorry to spoil your dream. I was literally driving past Ford WHQ Thursday and this passed me.

Like it or not it is a Mustang
They can call it that.

But until the script inside every Blue Oval logo starts reading "Mustang" instead of "Ford" it's still wrong - even by their own branding.

Are you related to millhouse?
No.
Just because you call something by a name doesn’t make it so.
Mustang is probably the most iconic American car ever. And now they try to trans it.
It really is a complete disgrace.

I know what you mean but...........
A male is and always will be a male.
A female is and always will be a female.
A Mustang was born with two doors and should remain so.

I was referring to your bringing back a thread that died a long time ago (millhouse brought back the 7.3 thread). At least that thread has some merit. This one is just regurgitation central. Just MHO. :)
