What do you think of adding lime green leather seats like these to my black Mustang? I love the idea of the lime green stitching and accents contrasting against the black seats and the rest of the interior. Katzkin has some black leather with bits of green that I think look really good.

Would you get lime green seats like these or would you recommend getting something more simple?

I like them, and if my car was black, something like that would be on my radar.

Iā€™d recommend something a little more subtle. I think thatā€™s a little over the top for my taste, but if you like it, I say do what makes you happy.

GO FOR IT says the guy with the grabber lime GT...... šŸ˜
Seriously though, I'd do it in a heart beat.
I'd even add some lime accents outside.
Stripes might be too much, maybe something a little more subtle.
But I've seen black cars with minor bright color accents, and they really POP!
Let us know what you decide. šŸ‘

green is not my color of choice, but it looks very well done. Ive been impressed with all of the katzkin seats I have seen. and if it just accents like that, it can look good in any color in a black car.

i have posted this before but I felt the black interior in the Bullitt was a bit dull even though it had the dark green stitching. IMHO the green leather inserts transforms the interior and looks OEM. If you think you want it donā€™t ask us, just do it.

just wanna let you know, someone in the factory screwed up. your steering wheel is on the wrong side.

Also, seems you flipped your car. shouldn't it be the other way, roof down?

I think I'd do the seats in the o/p video with the inner bolster area lime but the outer piping, not. And maybe some of that lime on the door panel, with a pair of those seat belt padding sleeves in lime or black with embroidered model type or Mustang horse in lime .
Like a drink, just hints of lime. But not over powering.

I prefer something subtle, something which looks like it could have come from the factory; it can be difficult to achieve this. Getting balance right can be hard.

The seats get changed. By themselves, they look great. Inside an all-black interior, maybe not. So something else is added. And again. Now, unfortunately, the owner runs the risk of the effect becoming overwhelming (unless this is what they are trying to achieve).

No disrespect intended with the comments above. We all have our own preferences and I'll be the first to admit others could find mine boring.

Something Google is great at: studying what other people have done. Check out designs from car shows and the like, to see what other builds look like. Might offer some inspiration.

You didn't mention your long-term plans for the car. If possible, save the original bits, just in-case. Stock interiors can be boring, but they often attract the most buyers.
