#60 and #59, had huge lead in the 1st hour.

#59 was punted into the bridge entering the Carousel (approx 85mph major damage)

#40 went behind the wall and lost 6 laps, Joey Hand did finish in the car with some quick laps.

#60 retired on lap 47.

#877 was punted into the gravel trap in turn #1 but actually got out on her own. Didn’t loose a lap and Marcelli got in and looked strong until the end and finished 6th.

Yea it was, but man Billy can really drive. The man has just been unfortunate this year. Today in the Super Trofeo series he was fighting for P1 and then double yellows and it was all downhill from there:facepalm:

I want to hear more, also would like to hear your thoughts on the Mustangs!
It's hard to tell you much. They seemed pretty quick at the start of the race, but they could barely run a lap between cautions. One Cayman had a good enough shunt that they had to cut him out. It's really hard to know the pace of a Sportscar at the start of the race, because they're usually gentlemen drivers who vary quite a bit in skill level. Once the Pro drivers get in, the real pace is shown. Until then, the biggest difference is in the driver.

I have not found this to be the case.
There are plenty of "gentleman racers" out there that keep the pros at bay. Half of the pros out there are only there because of their sponsor money. They are mediocre at best. I've watched "amateurs" qualify for WOO dirt races with junkyard motors. I've ridden with "pro racers" that couldn't find the line through a turn with a map and couldn't control throttle/steering input to save their lives.
Most of the "gentleman racers" have jobs that pay way more than racing, and they don't have to sell their souls to A-holes to get a ride.
All of that being said, of course, the folks at the top of the pro heap ARE truly talented. But I've seen foot cams from spec Miata racers that just put me in awe.
