I have never cared too much for kia until the stinger gt as well. There seems to be an issue with a rattle in the trunk.

Yeah, that was a known problem on the early production cars and was fixed by KIA. My wife's Stinger never had this problem. The biggest problems on the early Stingers is the paint. A number of people have had to have the car completely repainted.. The yellow ones are particularly prone to chipping paint.

My wife is likely getting one in a couple months, it’s an awesome car for the money. That ceramic color looks even better in person and at night, that’s also the color my wife wants.

You can put Lipstick on a Pig but its still a Kia.
that's actually, imo, a pretty poor and self defeating attitude. it's like saying i would rather have the product that costs twice as much because it has the right label on it and that will impress my friends and settle my validation issues. lol.

If I was going to spend that kind of money and wanted a 4 door I would get a Lexus, BMW or something along those lines. Never in hell would I drop that kind of money on a KIA. Sorry thats just my opinion.

My wife has a Stinger GT2 AWD. It really is a cool car. This is the first foreign car that we have owned. I actually enjoy driving it. This is coming from a guy who has owned 9 Mustangs and is the current owner of a 17 Raptor, a 17 Lincoln MKZ 3.0T AWD, and have a 19 GT on order. This thing gets more looks and thumbs up from other drivers than almost all of my past Mustangs..
Beautiful color.and wheels are a perfect match. Wish it came in a coupe

Automakers have to earn trust at that level of cost. KIA has yet to do so, and declaring the Stinger a success when it doesn't even provide the same performance as the competition at the same price is a bit of a stretch, especially considering its reputation. I fail to see how that's un-reasonable. IF 5 years from now these cars have proven reliable 400whp awd platforms at 40k, then congrats, they've just caught up with mitsubishi and subaru. Let's keep this in perspective.

Only 5 seconds slower than a Gand Cherokee, but I'm sure it's a great car....................

It's a Trackhawk, a $100k AWD and supercharged V8.

I test drove the Stinger GT2 AWD and it's a nice car. I wouldn't buy it new, but it'll be a fantastic car 2-3 years used when it has lost 50% of its value. A 400-hp, AWD, sport sedan, with up to 7 years of warranty remaining for $20-25k will be hard to beat.

It's a 5300 lb SUV that has cornering speeds and G's pulled in the corner virtually identical to KIA's best effort on any car, ever!!! (and only after the $700 brake pads that don't come on the Stinger)

I guess maybe at 20 grand...........................

Having my evaporator core go at 3k miles and now a steering wheel replaced at 10k miles on my 2016 Mustang, can't say I will be buying a new Ford anytime soon. As far as rattles I feel like I am tracking down a new one every week. Should have opted for the extended warranty for this one. Or if Ford offered a warranty as good as KIA's....

Stinger GT is too expensive for what you get, and it's a Kia... no thanks.
